Joe Biden calls Nigerian family to thank them for their support and invite them to the White House (video)
A US-based Nigerian family known as the Oke’s from Ibadan, Oyo state were recently greeted by US President Joe Bide called them over the phone for a total of 12 minutes.
According to Biden, they were randomly selected from a list of campaign donors as he appreciated them for their support.
The president had a chat with Dr. Oke’s daughters, Josephine and Beatrice, and also extended an invitation for them to visit the White House.
During the call, Biden praised Josephine for her intelligence and even cracked jokes with her.
He also spoke to her father, Dr. Oke, and asked where in Nigeria he’s from.
