BTS K-Pop star Jin to be deployed to a ‘frontline military unit’ when he begins his mandatory service on December 13



Jin, the oldest member of the Okay-pop band BTS, will start his obligatory army service on December 13, South Korean newspaper Aju Enterprise Day by day has reported, citing unnamed army authorities.


Jin shall be deployed to a unit after receiving 5 weeks of coaching on the boot camp, the paper reported on Thursday.


He’ll start his obligatory five-week coaching at Yeoncheon in Gyeonggi province earlier than being deployed to a ‘frontline unit’, the Yonhap information company reported, citing army and trade sources.


The singer had beforehand hinted on social media that he had been assigned to the entrance line.


All able-bodied South Korean males underneath the age of 30 should carry out about two years of army service, primarily as a result of the nation stays technically at conflict with nuclear-armed North Korea.
