Funke Akindele Loses Polling Unit As Jandor Defeats Sanwo-Olu, Rhodes-Vivour

FUNKE AKINDELE AND PDP GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE, AZEEZ OLAJIDE ADEDIRAN

Funke Akindele, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) within the ongoing governorship election in Lagos State has misplaced her polling unit 019, Ita Aro sq., Àga/Ijimu ward in Ikorodu, Lagos State to the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In response to the outcomes collated from the polling unit, PDP secured a complete of 19 votes whereas APC scored 77 votes. Labour Occasion polled 3 votes.

In the meantime, the gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state, Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, defeated his closest rivals, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Occasion and the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at his polling unit in Osolu Junior Excessive Faculty, Unit 001 ward G in Irewe, Ojo Native Authorities Space of the state.

Within the outcomes collated by INEC officers, Adediran polled a complete of 79 votes to defeat Sanwo-Olu who secured 66 votes whereas Rhodes-Vivour secured just one vote. Within the Home of Meeting election, PDP polled 81 votes towards 76 polled by the APC, because the Labour Occasion polled just one vote.

Earlier, MDB reported that the incumbent state governor, Sanwo-Olu defeated Labour Occasion’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour at his polling unit.

Sanwo-Olu, who’s vying for a second time period in workplace, defeated his co-contenders with 29 votes.

Rhodes-Vivour acquired 18 ballots, whereas Peoples Democratic Occasion candidate Olajide Adeniran, often known as Jandor, polled two votes.
