I will never vote for Tinubu, APC in 2023, says Cardinal Onaiyekan

Former Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, on Wednesday vowed to not vote  for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, for flying Muslim-Muslim ticket within the 2023 common elections.

Onaiyekan made this recognized at lecture entitled: “The Church as an Agent of Dialogue and Reconciliation In Our Group In Quest For a Simply and Peaceable Social Order,” on the ongoing first synod of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo at St. Kizito Pastoral Centre, Ede, Osun State, on Wednesday.

In keeping with him: “The APC has taken its personal determination in flying Muslim-Muslim ticket for the presidential election as a celebration to win on the ballot and accepted the duty for taking the choice and I will even take my electoral determination by not voting for the celebration. They’ve taken their political determination and I’ve taken my electoral determination as effectively.”
