As we speak, 17 March 2023, Pre-Trial Chamber II of the Worldwide Felony Courtroom (“ICC” or “the Courtroom”) issued warrants of arrest for 2 people within the context of the state of affairs in Ukraine: Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Ms Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova.

Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born on 7 October 1952, President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly answerable for the conflict crime of illegal deportation of inhabitants (youngsters) and that of illegal switch of inhabitants (youngsters) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (below articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and eight(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes had been allegedly dedicated in Ukrainian occupied territory no less than from 24 February 2022.
