The Presidential Candidate of Labor get together, Peter Obi has mourned the passing of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP governorship candidate of Abia State, Prof Eleazar Ikonne.
DAILY POST had reported Ikonne died on Wednesday after a short sickness.
Reacting on his Twitter web page, Peter Obi, who expressed shock over the dying, commiserated with Abians.
He mentioned, “I used to be shocked to learn the unhappy information of the dying of Prof. Uche Ikonne, the Peoples Democratic Get together’s Governorship Candidate in Abia State.
“I sincerely commiserate with the Abia State Governor, H.E. Okezie Ikpeazu; the PDP Household and the complete individuals of Abia State on this very unhappy growth.”
He additionally directed that Presidential Rally within the state slated for thirty first January be postponed to 4th February.
“Could God Almighty, who known as him residence grant him everlasting relaxation in His Kingdom, and grant his quick household, and the nice individuals of Abia state the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss.
“In deference, we now have postponed our Labour Get together’s Presidential Rally in Abia state, earlier scheduled for thirty first January to 4th February, to permit per week of mourning for the deceased.
