NCDC Records Fresh COVID-19 Cases In Rivers, Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Illness Management (NCDC) has introduced that 5 new circumstances of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections have been recorded from February 25 to March 31.

In its newest scenario report launched on Saturday, the NCDC disclosed that 4 of the circumstances have been recorded in Rivers, whereas one was recorded in Lagos.

The illness management company revealed that 266,665 circumstances have been confirmed updated, 259,951 sufferers discharged and three,155 deaths recorded in 36 states and the federal capital territory.

The NCDC mentioned: “The 5 new circumstances are reported from two states – Rivers (4) and Lagos (1), 4 states with zero circumstances reported are Abia, Kaduna, Kano, and Nasarawa.

“A multi-sectoral nationwide emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Stage 2, continues to coordinate the nationwide response actions.”


In the meantime, on Friday, the Nationwide Major Healthcare Improvement Company (NPHCDA) mentioned 71,183,637 of the overall eligible individuals focused have been absolutely vaccinated, whereas 11,871,959 have been partially vaccinated.
