Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer drags Malami to court for defamation



Aloy Ejimakor, Particular Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra, IPOB, has instituted a authorized motion in opposition to the Lawyer Basic of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami.

Ejimakor filed a swimsuit in opposition to Malami geared toward stopping him from making defamatory publications in opposition to Kanu that he jumped bail.

He famous that such a publication was prejudicial and injurious in opposition to Kanu.

In a tweet, the Particular Counsel wrote: “I filed a swimsuit in opposition to AGF Malami to cease him from making any additional defamatory publication that Onyendu #MNK jumped bail. Such publication is extremely prejudicial & injurious to MNK’s different instances pending in numerous courts. It has to cease!”


DAILY POST reported that Kanu was first arrested and launched by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal Excessive Court docket, Abuja in 2017.

Following his bail, Kanu left Nigeria for Europe after some troopers invaded his residence in Afaraukwu, Abia State.

He was, nonetheless, rearrested in June 2021 in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria to proceed his trial.

Following his re-arrest, Malami claimed that the IPOB chief fled Nigeria in 2017.
