Oyebanji mourns ex-Dep Gov of Ekiti, Bisi Egbeyemi

Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has expressed condolences on the dying of the rapid previous Deputy Governor of the state, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi.

Otunba Egbeyemi died on Friday night after a quick sickness. He was 79 years outdated.

Egbeyemi, a famend instructor and lawyer, served as Deputy Governor between October 16, 2018 and October 15, 2022. He had earlier served as a legislator within the outdated Ondo State. He later served as chairman, Ado Native Authorities Council and Commissioner for Training.

Governor Oyebanji in a press release by his Particular Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, described the late Deputy Governor as a statesman of reputation, revered neighborhood chief and an important lover of his individuals, who made very important contributions to the expansion and growth of the state.

The governor described the late Egbeyemi as a distinguished chief who served Ekiti State meritoriously in several capacities and continued to contribute to the event and stability of the state out of workplace, until he breathed his final.

Governor Oyebanji who described Otunba Egbeyemi as a person of Honour, an important chief of his individuals and a father determine to many, stated the late Deputy Governor could be sorely missed for his frankness, deep perception and sensible counsel.

“Baba ran a superb race, served our pricey state along with his time, expertise and sources and etched his title in gold as a person of honour, wonderful crew participant and a seasoned administrator. We will miss his amiable character and sensible counsel.

“On behalf of my spouse, the Authorities and good individuals of Ekiti State, I commiserate with the kids and rapid members of the family of our pricey chief and former deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi.

“Whereas we thank God for the lifetime of affect he lived, we all know that he shall be sorely missed. Our prayer is that God Almighty will grant him everlasting relaxation and luxury the household,” the assertion added.
